This geocell is designed to stabilize soil surfaces in backyard parking areas and pathways, as well as prevent surface erosion on slopes and pond banks.
Applications and Construction
The material is suitable for strengthening road embankments, bridge cones, reservoir shores, quarry slopes, waste dump embankments, and retaining artificial soil over roof constructions. It is manufactured from perforated high-density polyethylene (HDPE) strips connected by ultrasonic welding to form a three-dimensional honeycomb structure.
Filling Options
- Filled with soil and planted with vegetation to develop a root layer.
- Filled with broken stones, gravel, or river stones.
- Can be installed over geotextile to restrict weed growth.
